Band On A Mission

While taking the subway a couple of weeks ago, I was surprised to see a band playing. They were performing to raise awareness for hunger. Hooked to a guitar rig, The eight guitarists were serenading the passing crowd. I stopped to listen to a couple of songs. Commuters young and old applauded their every performance. I admire artists who have a sense of social responsibility. From the reaction they got from the public, I am very sure they got their message across. Music truly is a language everyone understands.
