Fans

My son and I are huge football fans. Watching Sunday night football has been a routine for both of us. We don't have any favorite teams, we just love the sport. We don't just watch, we're both collectors. I have my own collection and my son has his. I have been collecting longer than he has. I have a complete set of NFL Uniforms from the '80s to the present. He has several helmets as well as jerseys. We also have a collection of every Super Bowl since the '90s.

Aside from collecting NFL stuff, we also belong to a father and son club. We play football twice a month. The fathers form one team and the sons another. It fun and safe. Tag football is less physical. I can't imagine my son running me to the ground. He's big, bigger than me. Plus, some of us oldies are not that fit anymore. We just like enjoying the sport that unites us. The winner of our games get bragging rights with pizza thrown in with the win.

Football will not be complete without barbeque. During Super Bowl weekend, we host the meanest barbeque in town. Our friends would come to our place and watch the game there. I guess we're more than just fans, we're a cult.

Modern Clinic

I recently had my eyes checked. It's a routine checkup for my glaucoma. My ophthalmologist had recently upgraded his equipment. Everything had been computerized. Computers and other equipments were placed on medical computer carts. I was impressed by his clinic's new look. It was well organized and looked very neat. This is how clinics should look like. Clinics should also be designed well and make use of the advances in technology.

Cool Gift

I got a cool gift from my son the other day. I've always wanted something to play my favorite songs. While checking out new gadgets, he chanced upon a sony mp3 player. I always wanted one and my son was aware of it. Now I can listen to my collection of songs  anywhere at anytime. I used to play them on my laptop which I cannot put in my pocket.

My Own TV

My wife's been complaining that I've been hugging our TV and that she doesn't get to watch her favorite shows. I must admit, I've been glued to my favorite shows lately. To give her time, I bought a new samsung led TV and put it in my study. The wife gets to watch what she wants and I get to watch what I want. Everybody's happy and no friction whatsoever.
