Miss Playing

I used to play football until I busted my knees. What I lacked in size, I made up in heft. I could tackle too and it surprised the bigger players. I gave no quarters and always played my heart out. Sadly, my knees could not take it. I fondly remember how my teammates gave me football gifts when my left knee was operated on. It was a nice gesture. Our coach treated us to pizza when I got out of the hospital. I really miss playing football.

Birthday Wish

My son's birthday is coming up and I wanted to get him some new games fro his console. I barely have the time to go searching in the mall. I have to know the exact location. I asked my son-in-law where can I buy ps3 games? He knew several shops and gave their addresses to me. My son gave me a list of the games he likes. The first shop I went to had all the games he wanted. I sure he's going to have a blast playing these.

Gearing Up For Summer

A few weeks before the start of summer, my cousin readied his RV for the long haul. They'll be traveling by road to three states. He contracted a motor home repair shop to do some maintenance work to ensure a trouble-free road trek. They'll going to the south this year. This has been an annual practice of their family. His kids always look forward to summer. They get to visit and learn about the states. I am very sure it's going to be another great summer for them.

Farm In The Suburbs

I dropped by a friend's place in the suburbs a couple of weeks ago. He's into organic foods and he asked me to come over to see his little farm in the suburbs. I was awestruck when I walked into his backyard. He wasn't joking. Rows of vegetables and herbs filled a big portion of his lot. I am very impressed at how well-kept his fabulous garden is. Neatly tucked in a corner are some backyard chicken coops. He harvest his eggs there and from time to time, chicken for dinner. I stayed for dinner to sample his organic foods. From the salad to the roasted chicken, everything he served were very delicious.
