So the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight is off. I find Floyd's condition of a random drug test acceptable. What I can't understand is why Pacquiao doesn't want any of it. It's not as if Mayweather wouldn't be tested. Even if Pacquiao's handlers say that Floyd is just making excuses to wiggle out of the fight, I have to disagree. Floyd doesn't need Manny, Manny needs Floyd more to legitimize his stature.
Manny stands too lose more as there is no fighter with the same caliber as Floyd. Manny wouldn't get the purse he will get should he fight Floyd. Bob Arum will not get a big payday either. Manny could fight all the fighters thrown at him but it will never be as big as a match with Floyd. I'm a Filipino but does not agree with the rest of my people.
